Round-Robin Ascending

The Round-Robin Ascending is a method in Circular Hunting where the search for an idle station follows a cyclic round-robin robin method. The search begins from the B-Channel (bearer channel) used for the previous call using the lowest-numbered non-busy B-Channel.

NOTE: This Round-Robin Ascending Circular Hunting method is applicable only for EX controllers.

Programming

  1. Click the ISDN tab, and then select Primary Rate Interface.

  2. Select the interface from the drop-down list.

  3. From Interface Configuration,in Channel Allocation Strategy, select Round-Robin Ascending.
